Below is the link to my PBL slides about the Gatsby short film. It highlights the process that we went through to create our film.
Art is when someone uses their talent to make something creative. Art comes in many forms such as painting, music, or dance. Even subjects like engineering use can be art like when you build things like furniture. Math can be art because you can take geometric shapes to create things or what fraction of a canvas to cover. It can be Spanish because people consider certain languages an art of their own and can pressent poems in that language.
Soldering
Soldering is melting solder onto a circuit to make it connect or to repair it. Melting point is the tempature at which something goes from a solid to a liquid state of matter. Copper has a higher melting point because the solder would melt right after touching the soldering iron while the copper would not.

8/18/23 Drawing in Onshape in Engingeering class
Robot Wheel
I used a center point circle and a corner rectangle.
Robot Chassis
I used the dimensioning tool, rectangle, and centerpoint rectangle tool.
Robot sides
I used copy and paste, dimensioning, and rectangle tools.
Drawing of car
I used the onset tool, the circle tool, the fillet tool, the spline tool, the rectangle, and the trim tool.
Today in class we made a chaser pattern with the leds on our pico breakout boards. This video shows GP 1-6. I used the serial monitor to troubleshoot and see how to fix my code.
8/31/2023 ELA
We signed our group contracts and created norms for our project. This will help us work together to complete our assignment efficiently.
9/5/2023 ELA
We started researching and writing how our civilization operated. My civilization was the Aztec. We then started to plan out our play to perform how it operated.
Unit 0 AP World History Reflection
Reflection Answers (Must be detailed and at least one paragraph per response):
The neolithic revolution led to many injustices within religion, social classes, and genders. The neolithic revolution led to civilizations, which led to religions and culture, which led to injustices. One example is the caste system, which developed from hinduism. The caste system created harsh social classes, in which you had to fufill your dharma to move up a class. In Athens, they were the much more democratic and developed area, women did not play near as much of a role.
There were multiple early neolithic inventions such as farming tools like a hoe, spade, or other tools and ways to make farming more efficient. They also starting making tools out of stone. They even used irrigation to better farm and grow crops. These are the developments that we have built on all of these years.
The rise of interregional trade routes such as the Silk Road were a great way to connect civilizations. Each civilization started picking up pieces of other culture through trade and interaction. Universalizing religions such as buddhism and christianity spread through missionaries during trade. This also showed how important it was to have your civilization near water not only for irrigation and drinking water but to be able to move resources for trade.
Centralized is one main government or person making decisions, while decentralized is when the government power is into levels. Examples of centralized governments are France and China. An example of a decentralized government is Finland.
1. Paleolithic was the time of hunting and gathering, when pastoralists would overgraze an area then move on too the next and overgraze again. 2. Neolithic was the transition to civilization and the start of agriculture. People stopped moving as much and started to live in one place. 3. The caste system was a Hindu system in which people were put into harsh social classes. You had to fulfill your dharma in order to move up a social class. 4. The silk road was one of the first and biggest interregional trade routes. This helped spread cultures between those who traded. 5. Mesopotamia was the first civilization and many stories match up with those in the Bible such as the story of Noah’s ark. 6. Hammurabi’s Code was one of the earliest codified texts, and it contained very harsh punishments while favoring rich men.

Grid design using mirror tool, dimensioning tool, linear pattern, and center point rectangle tool.
CLover using circle, offset, fillet, and mirror toools.
Broken up ellipse using ellipse, fillet, mirror, trim and dimension tools.
Free draw using fillet, mirror, rectangle, and linear pattern tools.
ELA 9/7/2023
Today we developed the plot for a story. We then added our story into this set up. We ended by created characters.
9/12/23 ELA
Today we started to plan out our play with characters. We made sure to use flashbacks and our script is below.
9/14/23
Today we started practicing our scripts and working on including, playable actions. We also learned more about how to make our play better by having Mr. Doyle help us.
9/15/23
Today we finalized our script and practiced reading over our parts together. We also did an IXL and a membean quiz.

The normal force is proportional to the force of gravity. The equation is Fn = m g.
The force of friction is opposite the direction of motion.
Fk = uk FN is the equation for Friction Force (Kinetic). To increase the "grippiness" you can change the material of the wheels, and the weight of the wheels.
Art 9/27
The mandala is used to focus the mind. They are a representation of the universe and a path t enlightenment. Isee balance, pattern, and variety in the mandala. They use a shape that is similar to an atom.
On shape 9-12 Moving into 3d 10/18
Front/back
This is the onshape of the front and back of my box. I used extrude and supresse for all of these shapes. I also used rectangle and linear pattern for all of these shapes.
Left/Right
This is the onshape of the left and right of my box
Bottom
This is the onshape of the bottom of my box
Box
This is a picture of my box put together. I used the laser cutter and elmers glue to put this together.
This is a video of my robot moving in all four directions. I used comments from my mu editor to know how to move in each direction.
This is a video of my robot traversing the set path. I had to measure my distances and use math to find the time between each turn. I used comments on my code to know which way to turn.
Drawing Practice Engineering 9/6
Car
I drew this car using one point perspective tools I learned in class.
Tractor
I drew this tractor using perspective tools and followed the steps we learned in class to create it.
Robot
I created a unique yet simple robot that had all of the characteristics that I wanted while using single point perspective.
Truck
I drew this truck using a creative model of truck, shading, and just following one point perspective tools.

I can apply useful list methods to alter and access information about a list.
Borax is a white powdery substance used as a household cleaner. Its a combination of sodium, boron, and oxygen. You use hot water to super-saturate the borax, and its crystalizes when it cools. My art is dynamic because I used form creatively.
People started using abstraction in art because they could create something that a camera couldn't and it can alter the focus point of an image. This art requires more interpretation compared to African or Native American arts that use abstraction to show things like emotion. Abstract art can relate to math because certain shapes can portray certain emotions. Data such as what shapes or colors cause what emotions. I think for art I like to work in a more expressive way because that is much more fun
