I choose this scene because it was a part of Odysseus trying to go back home.I used the images to show the highlights of the scene. When you read this you should learn that taunting a cyclops once you leave could go wrong. It also teaches using your wits to escape from danger.
Sundiata App I designed an app to go through modern and acient foods and locations of Mali.

Newton's Rockets
I used Drew's design process to build my rocket. We briefed, did research, talked and came up with idea development, made a prototype, and then tested it. We realized some problems with our rocket so we went back and made modifications, and our second attempt was much better. We used a water bottle filled halfway with vinegar, 3 straws, tape to hold the straws, baking soda wrapped in toilet paper, and a cork. This experiment used the proportion principle of design. During our first attempt, we used too much vinegar, but not enough baking soda and toilet paper to hold it. We had to balance the proportions a lot better to get the best reaction. We made sure there was less vinegar, more baking soda and more toilet paper to hold the baking soda. This used shape as an element of art. We had to change our straw lengths and cork size. This was to help our rocket balance a lot better. the shape of our cork size was vital because we only had a few seconds to plug to bottle and make sure it wouldn't leak. Our bottle shape was important because enough vinegar had to get mixed with the baking soda in enough time.
I built newton's cradle using simple materials. We constructed the frame with popsicle sticks held together by hot glue. We then used string and lined them across the wood. The next step was gluing the marbles together and lining them up. We ended by testing until it worked.

Immersive Experience Set Design
I made 5 different set pieces for the immersive experience. I used recycled bottles, toilet paper rolls, cardboard, paper, paint, popsicle sticks, and more. I used items found in and around water to incorporate water. I am most proud of stepping outside of my comfort zone by doing something I normally would not. If I cold change one thing I would make my boats bigger.
Choose your own Adventure I designed an app where you get to pick a path to find out your perfect fit soccer team.
