Health Pathway

In this project, we advertised and helped the Red Cross Blood Drive. We went around the school to tape ads. We also posted the ads. online and told Drew families about it as well. At the blood drive, most of us walked around the campus holding up signs to attract more people to the blood drive.

I learned a few things doing this project. First, teachers never donates blood at the school. Second, face-to-face advertisement is the best form of advertisement. Finally, real lives were saved from this project. That is also the reason why I liked this project, it is a way to help other people.

We created a website for Health on weebly. There are more than 20 topics on the website. Some of them are Health Triangles, Health Continuum, Diet, Nutrition, STI and etc. We had to include at least 3 visual aids for each topic. This website will be a part of our personal profolio.

I learned a lot about health in this project. I learned about how many calories are in each of the six main nutrients, two of them are actually zero. I learned about the three main types of health: mental, social and physical. Overall, I liked how this turned out as it is the biggest website I've made so far.
