I'm Caleb Martin—a student-athlete, aspiring lawyer, and community leader. My journey has been shaped by resilience, passion, and a commitment to excellence in everything I pursue. As a state champion hurdler, I’ve learned that success isn’t just about speed—it’s about perseverance, adaptability, and the willingness to push through obstacles, both on and off the track.
Beyond athletics, my passion for law and justice drives me. Through internships at law firms and the mayor’s office of constituent services, I’ve seen firsthand how the legal system can be a powerful tool for change. My goal is to specialize in international transactional law, using my knowledge to advocate for those who need it most.
I also have a deep appreciation for technical theater and coding, where I’ve explored the behind-the-scenes elements that bring productions to life. Whether in law, theater, or athletics, I thrive on problem-solving and bringing ideas to reality.
At my core, I believe in giving back. From volunteering at the Atlanta Food Bank to mentoring freshmen through Peer leadership I strive to leave a lasting impact on the people and communities around me.
Every experience I’ve had—every hurdle I’ve faced—has shaped me into the driven, purpose-filled individual I am today. My story is still being written, and I’m excited for what’s ahead.
After I graduate high school, I plan to attend North Carolina Central University to major in Political Science on a Pre-Law track.
My goal is to become a lawyer who actually makes a difference — someone people can turn to when they feel like the system isn’t built for them. I want to specialize in international transactional law and medical malpractice, but no matter what path I take, I know I want to help people.
I’ve seen how unfair the world can be, especially for those who don’t have the resources to fight back. That’s why I want to take on pro bono cases and be the type of lawyer who shows up for those who need someone in their corner.
Law isn’t just a job for me — it’s a way to give back, to protect, and to pour into others the same way people have poured into me.
