For this project, we explored and expressed our opinions on school uniform policies around the world. Throughout the unit, we researched global perspectives and practiced using relevant Spanish vocabulary to support our arguments. On the final day, we brought our learning to life by organizing a mock strike—displaying our posters and confidently presenting our viewpoints entirely in Spanish. It was a powerful way to blend language, culture, and real-world issues.
For this project, we planned and budgeted a two-month international trip with a $5,000 limit, learning how to manage expenses responsibly while immersing ourselves in Spanish language and culture. Throughout the journey, we used our Spanish vocabulary to describe our hotels, the scenery, and every part of the experience, combining financial literacy with language fluency in a creative and engaging way.
