Lesson Overview
Artists will learn about various underground systems.
Artists will create their own art based on the underground system of their choice using watercolor pencil & oil pastel.
Vocabulary:
Cross-Section Drawing - a slice through any object which shows its layer structure
Subterranean - existing, occurring, or done under the earth's surface.
Materials Needed: heavy paper, pencil, eraser, watercolor pencil, crayon or oil pastel (for resist) *this project can be done with ANY coloring materials on hand, but the demo will include watercolor pencil and crayon.
