An integer is a whole number, positive or negative, that has no decimals or fractions. A positive integer is an integer above zero, and a negative integer is an integer below zero.
Zero is a neutral number as it is neither positive nor negative.
A directed number is a number that can be positive OR negative.

When the number of negative signs in a question is even - the answer is POSITIVE. For example; 5 x 6 = 30.
When the number of negative signs in a question is odd - the answer is NEGATIVE. For example; -5 x 6 = -30.
