This course is best suited to students who have consistently achieved A or B level results in Year 11 Advanced English and in Year 11 Extension 1. Students must also have a strong work ethic, be self-motivated and have the ability to work independently.
Exclusions: English Standard, English Studies.

Students complete a Major Work in a chosen form
Assessment includes: The Composition Process, Major Work, Reflection Statement, Major Work Journal
Students undertake extensive independent investigation involving a range of complex texts during the composition process and document this in their Major Work Journal and Reflection Statement.
