The IDEAL Paragraph

In 2016, the Magdalene Literacy Team identified 'paragraph writing' as problematic, Each Key Learning Area taught paragraph writing differently and this was most confusing for the students.  

Teachers and students were surveyed, and KLA Literacy Team representatives met with their respective faculties to determine subject-specific requirements for 'paragraph writing'. 

As a result of this extensive, collaborative process, the IDEAL paragraph was born. This structure provides consistency for students in all Key Learning Areas.
