Greetings NSE Families,

North Salem Elementary staff is looking forward to the opportunity to meet with our students' parents and guardians at Parent Conferences. Ongoing home-school communication is a vital component in creating a learning environment that is supportive for each of our students. Conferences are scheduled for the afternoon and evening of Wednesday, November 1, during the day on Thursday, November 2 and during the evening of Thursday, November 9.

The first marking period officially ended on Monday, October 30, 2023. Report cards will be accessible to families through the Skyward Portal on Wednesday, November 8. If you are having any issues with accessing your child's report card after 8 AM on November 8, please contact our school office.

We are so fortunate to have an active and supportive PTO. The PTO had a very busy month of October as they hosted Trunk or Treat on October 25, sponsored our fall Book Fair from October 24 through 27, ran NSE's Read A Thon, and provided a fantastic "spooky lunch" to our staff on Friday, October 27. They also assisted with our successful and heavily attended Muffins in the Morning event by purchasing all of the muffins and drinks. We can not thank our PTO enough for all their support! I encourage you to get involved in this great organization that supports our students and staff.
