Welcome!

Hello and welcome to our upper school art class! My name is Mrs. Giddens, and I am thrilled to be your art teacher this year. I am a working artist with a passion for mixed media, and my artwork is proudly displayed in galleries in Las Vegas.

I hold a Bachelor's degree in Fashion Design and a Master's degree in Art Education. My journey in art and education has been an exciting one, and I am eager to share my knowledge and experience with you.

In addition to my love for art, I enjoy practicing yoga, training my energetic 3-year-old Golden Retriever, and watching movies, cartoons, and anime. These hobbies not only bring me joy but also inspire my creativity, and I hope to bring that same sense of inspiration into our classroom.

Our class will be a space where you can explore your creativity, develop new skills, and express yourself through various artistic mediums. I believe in a choice-based learning environment where you have the freedom to pursue your interests and create unique projects that reflect your individuality.

I am looking forward to a fantastic year filled with creativity, collaboration, and artistic growth. Let's make some amazing art together!

Best regards,
Mrs. Giddens
