Personal Development, Behaviour and Attitudes
Safeguarding and Inclusion
It is important that all members of our community are aware of key issues with are in part of life in modern Britain.
As part of Sexual Violence Awareness Week 2022, we are using this short video from the National Crime Agency to provide a overview and definition of what Sextortion is.
When watching the video, answer these questions:
Was this something you were aware of?
Who is mainly behind sextortion ?
Who should an individual speak to if affected by sextortion ?
If you have any concerns, remember to speak to a member staff. We have people in College who can help or signpost to the right people who can provide help/support.
World Of Work
It is also National Apprenticeship Week this week.
As an element of the World Of Work, we want you to keep considering your next steps following the completion of your course this year.
So. What is an apprenticeship ?
An apprenticeship is a paid job where the employee learns and gains valuable experiences.
Alongside on-the-job training, apprentices spend at least 20% of their working hours completing classroom-based learning with a college, university or training provider which leads to a nationally recognised qualification.
In this section, this week, you'll also find links to:
