CARE Team: Committed to proactive and early intervention, the CARE Team supports students directly and through consultation with campus partners. You can referral for yourself or any Dominican student to get them connected to campus support resources. Submit a CARE Team Referral here.
Some reasons for referral may include: academic performance, health or well-being, unusual behavior(s), extra support needed, or any other concerns.

University Counseling Services: Counseling sessions are personal and private sessions that provide a supportive environment where students can explore, change, and grow at their own pace, based on their own needs and desires. Sessions are usually fifty minutes long, once a week. For more information or to schedule an appointment, please call (415) 485-3258 and leave a message with your name and phone number. You can also schedule an appointment online here. Counseling services are available during the academic year, and are closed during the summer and winter breaks.
Office of Community and Belonging: The Office of Community and Belonging facilitates the development of a diverse campus community that is inclusive and safe for all students, faculty, and staff. Directed by Stacy Poe, it partners with the Diversity Action Group (DAG) to advocate for and facilitate a diversity-sensitive institutional environment. Bias, discrimination, or other diversity-related incidents may be currently reported to Stacy Poe, the Diversity Action Group, and/or the Office of the Dean of Students. Integrative Coaching: Integrative Coaches are here to support you with developing your academic and life skills by identifying your individual values and goals, and reinforcing connections with other mentors throughout your college experience. Accessibility and Disability Services: The Accessibility and Disability Services (ADS) office is committed to adding value to the Dominican community by providing accommodations and promoting an atmosphere of respect and inclusion. In addition, ADS is available as a resource to faculty, staff and the DUC community to provide guidance regarding disability-related issues. Tutoring and Learning Center: The Tutoring and Learning Center (TLC), located in Bertrand 110, is an academic resource for all Dominican students. It houses computer workstations, tutoring carrels, printing services, and conference areas for group tutoring and studying. -During the academic year, the weekly Penguin Pantry provides fresh groceries on Wednesdays from 11am - 3pm. It is held outside of Albertus Magnus and is available to all students.
