The Student Health Center is closed for in person visits this semester, due to a staffing shortage. We will be expanding our partnership with TimelyCare, a virtual health and well-being platform, to provide medical care for students. Some of you are familiar with TimelyCare - they have been a part of DU for the past couple of years providing mental health and wellness care for students. With our expanded partnership, TimelyCare medical services will be available to all students at no cost. Whether you’re feeling under the weather, anxious, or overwhelmed, you will be able to talk to a licensed provider to get the care you need via phone or secure video visits, 24 hours a day and seven days a week.
STUDENTS CAN ACCESS TIMELYCARE THROUGH THEIR OKTA DASHBOARD.
IMPORTANT: There is no staff in the Student Health Center. All medical questions/concerns should be directed to TimelyCare or to students' primary care provider.
The expansion of our TimelyCare partnership includes the following offerings at no cost to students:
MedicalNow - 24/7, on-demand medical care.
Scheduled Medical - Select the day, time, and medical provider of your choice.
TalkNow - 24/7, on-demand emotional support.
Scheduled Counseling - Select the day, time, and mental health provider of your choice (students have a limit of 12 visits per year)
Health Coaching - Support for developing healthy behaviors.
Psychiatry - Advanced mental health care, available upon referral.
Self-Care Content - 24/7 access to self-care tools and resources, such as meditation and yoga sessions, helpful videos, and short articles from experts.
TimelyCare is available via the Okta portal. If you have not already done so, please access the TimelyCare platform through Okta and register with your Dominican email address. Additionally, you can download the TimelyCare mobile app from the Apple or Google store. Once registered, you can then immediately start visits from any web-enabled device (smartphone, tablet, laptop, or desktop), anywhere in the United States.
