APPROACH
Theoretical/Practice-based
Digital tools for arts enhances the students’ competencies in videoinstallations, with specific focus on non-linear narratives.
The programme consists of one single module, which grants 6 CFA credits.
Successful students will be able to:
→ Be acquainted with the contemporary technologies available in their field
→ Select the most appropriate technologies for their projects
→ Master a multicanal videoinstallation
→ Create their personal, guided learning path into the selected technologies

This is a theoretical/project based course. Over the course, the stu- dents will carry out didactic activities that are functional to achiev- ing the learning goals, that may include:
→ Classroom lectures
→ Exercises and revisions
→ Development of individual projects → Development of group projects
→ Individual study and research
Assessment is based on the overall competence of the students and may include
→ Oral exam
→ Creation of project documents
→ Creation of tech demos
→ Creation of videoinstallations
→ Assessed revisions or mid-term tests
The assessment criteria refer to the quality of contents, methodological consistency of the projects, creativity and originality of the projects.
