Instructions: 

1. Form groups of 3–4 members. 

2. Your task is to create a podcast episode (5–7 minutes) that discusses the key principles and procedures of materials development in language teaching. 

3. Your podcast should include: 

• An introduction explaining what materials development is and why it is important. 

• A discussion of at least three key principles of materials development and how they enhance language learning. 

• An explanation of the main procedures involved in developing effective instructional materials. 

• Examples or scenarios illustrating how these principles and procedures can be applied in real classroom contexts. 

• An interview segment with an expert in materials development (such as a language teacher, curriculum designer, or instructional materials developer) to gain professional insights and practical advice. 

4. Record your podcast using any accessible audio recording tool or app. 

5. Submit your podcast audio file along with a brief written summary (1 page) via LMS.
