Activity 3

Purpose: 

To design an original speaking activity based on authentic spoken input. 

Instructions: 

1. Source Selection Find a real-life verbal input (choose one):

• Excerpt from a YouTube interview 

• Podcast clip (1–2 mins) 

• Recorded natural conversation 

• Short dialogue from a movie or series 

2. Activity Design Using your selected source, design a short speaking activity. It must include: 

• Title of the activity 

• Target learners/level 

• Objectives (1–2 sentences)

• Instructions for students 

• Follow-up or reflection task 

3. Presentation & Peer Feedback Present your plan (5 mins). Classmates give comments or suggestions for improvement.
