Greetings Ruby Young Personalized STEAM Academy Families, 

We are off to a great start! However, we need your assistance with a couple of things. We have several students arriving late to school who are car riders. Please remember we need your students in their classroom by 8:00. Our teachers are working hard to provide the best instruction, every minute counts. We also have several students that are being picked up late. Dismissal is at 3:50 and we need all students picked up promptly by 4:05 every day. I greatly appreciate your cooperation with both of these items.

This week and next week are 4-day weeks. Please remember there is NO SCHOOL this Friday or next Monday (Labor Day). We hope that you enjoy the time to rest and relax.

Parent Survey

Attention all 6th, 7th and 8th grade young men! We have a special presentation just for the young men on Wednesday, September 6th. We are asking all males to dress professionally on this day. We would like to see them in a dress shirt, slacks and nice shoes. See flyer below for more information. 

Fathers/Male Guardians: If you have any ties, bowties, dress shirts, or slacks that you would like to donate to the school for this event, please let me know. brittany.torres@desotoisd.org or 972-223-6505. 

Our 8th-grade students have an opportunity to attend a College Tour. There are limited seats available. Please see the flyer below for more information.
