Greetings Ruby Young Personalized STEAM Academy Families, 

I hope that you are all doing well. I want to thank everyone for celebrating me last week during National School Counselor Week. I enjoyed reading every note given to me by the students. Thank you so much for your gifts and generosity. I am truly blessed to serve such amazing students and families at Ruby Young. Thank you!

We are seeing an increase in late arrivals. Student instruction begins at 8:00. It is imperative that all students are in their seats by 8:00 am. Please assist us by making sure your student is being dropped off on time. The doors open at 7:30 am. 

We are also seeing more students out of dress code. Please remember that our uniform top colors are gold, green, black, gray, and white polo shirts with collars. Uniform bottom colors are black, khaki, navy, olive, and gray. 

Tomorrow, Monday, February 12th, is our campus marketing photography day. We will have people on campus all day to take videos and photos of our students engaged in different activities. Please make sure that your student is in uniform and well-groomed tomorrow. 

Wednesday, February 14th is our MAP awards celebration. We will be celebrating students who met their growth goals and/or obtained Meets or Masters level. This is an invitation-only celebration. Students meeting the criteria will receive their invitation tomorrow. Parents are welcome to attend. Middle School awards will be from 8:15-9:00. Elementary awards will be from 9:30-10:40. 

Thursday is College Thursdays. Students may wear a college shirt with uniform bottoms on Thursdays.
