After two years without face-to-face classes, the ALS in the Schools Division of Zambales has a project that aims to help address the learning gaps for ALS Learners, Project OPPPA.
This project wants to give importance and focus to teaching literacy (reading, numeracy, and writing) to ALS learners at a specific time of the day. It will serve as remedial for learners who need improvement in these skills and an enhancement to allow other learners (fast learners) to increase their knowledge and ability in these skills.
Every little help counts because little by little, a little becomes MORE.
The Alternative Learning System encourages partnership, with the private, LGU and other government agencies, for the continuity and sustainability of the ALS program. Thus, SDO Zambales maintains a good relationship with its partners, not only with the LGU but also with private organizations, such as Emmanuel Baptist Community Church and Ministries Education For All Inc.
During the hosting of SDO Zambales of the Regional Kumustahan held on December 15-16, 2022, the Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) between the SDO Zambales headed by Dr. Romeo M. Alip - the Schools Division Superintendent, and Bishop Rogie Villanueva, MDIV - the President of the said organization was signed.
