The RA 10533 and RA 11510 provide for the strengthened and enhanced Alternative Learning System (ALS). These also aim to open more educational opportunities for Filipino citizens of different interests, capabilities of demographic characteristics, socio-economic origin, and status as well as addressing the needs of marginalized groups such as out-of-school children in special cases and adults and indigenous peoples. It is envisioned that with the help of the Alternative Learning System (ALS), every Filipino will be awakened, empowered, and transformed into a productive, self-reliant, responsible, humane, and upright citizen who can contribute to the betterment of the family, community, and country.
The ALS 4 in 1 Program implement in Barangay Graceville. Based on the Barangay Ordinance No. 2022-11-7-053 stated that the Barangay Council of Barangay Graceville provides appropriate budget for FREE UNIFORM, FREE SCHOOL SUPPLIES, FREE TRAINING AND LIVELIHOOD PROGRAM AND SCHOLARSHIP GRANTS for the ALS learners and Passers enrolled in ALS Barangay Graceville Community Learning Center.
In this program provides greater opportunities for ALS learners to encourage them to continue/complete the Basic Education, to pursue their studies in higher level and enhance/develop their skills and talents that will helps alleviate poverty and sustain social and economic growth.
