Welcome to Dundee Reads.

We have put together some lists of books we think you might like and the bonus is that many of these are available free from Dundee Public Libraries from their e-reading section.

You can choose to listen or read these on your chosen device.

You need to be a library member to access it but don't worry, if you aren't already a member there is a sign in section on that link and you can get signed up in 5 minutes and then you will be able to access audiobooks and ebooks, magazines, ecomics and graphic novels. Remember, anything you access through Dundee Public Libraries is totally free!

It's also worth checking out ebooks via Amazon. They often have great deals in their kindle store. They have also made a number of books available for free during the covid-19 crisis.

We have also added a section for Comics and Graphic Novels. You might be surprised to hear that Dundee Libraries also gives you free access to ecomics and Graphic novels. Click on the link below to see what they have on offer. They do have age restrictions mentioned on each item but might want to check that they are suitable with a parent or carer.

You are also able to view emagazines with a wide range to choose from.

We have listed the books in genres. Genre is just another word for category for a book. Many books often fit into more than one category so we have tried our best to choose a main category for the books we have reviewed.

To help you choose you will see some of the books have rough age groups mentioned beside them.
