The Nurse Aide certificate program prepares students with classroom training and practice as well as the clinical experiences necessary to care for patients in various settings including general medical and surgical hospitals, nursing care facilities, community care facilities for the elderly, and home health care services. Students who successfully complete the Nurse Aide Technical Certificate of Credit may be eligible to sit for the National Nurse Aide Assessment Program (NNAAP), which determines competency to become enrolled in the State nurse aide registry.
NOTE: Students must be 17 by September 15th for fall semester or 17 by February 15th for spring semester of the enrollment year
Career opportunities: Graduates are employable as nurse aides in hospitals, nursing care facilities, home health care services, and community care.

Program registration is open January - May each school year. Program enrollment is determined on a first come first serve basis. Students must meet all admission requirements to be enrolled in a CCI program. Additionally, all required registration steps must be submitted for an application to be considered complete.
