Students Gain Real World Experience Through Entertainment Broadcast Production

Despite the many challenges that our school system has faced throughout this pandemic, students at Decatur High School have been dedicated to rising above our current circumstances in an effort to do more. Using real-world experience, our students have pushed through these challenges to create something positive for our community to be excited about! This year, Decatur High School’s Sports and Entertainment Marketing class created a 20 minute entertainment broadcast video for our community to enjoy. Our goal is to get the overall “most views” with respect to other participating schools around the United States. With your help, our school will have an opportunity to receive a grant in the amount of $1000.00 towards our Sports and Entertainment Marketing class.

Below is a trailer of the student produced broadcast. We’d like to encourage you to share this trailer with as many of your friends and family members as possible! Thank you, and we hope you enjoy it!

Tune in today, Dec 11 @ 6:00 PM through midnight Wednesday, Dec 30 for the first episode of DHS Campus Tour! Watch and share to help us win a $1,000 grant!
