Technology Replacement

For the 2020-21 school year, DCS will be charging for the replacement of a lost Chromebook or charger. The replacement cost for a lost Chromebook is $250 and for a lost charger is $20.

If your Chromebook has been stolen please see the school resource officer.

If your Chromebook is damaged or if you need a Chromebook or charger and you are on campus, please see Ms. Hurst in the library media center during 2nd block.

If you are a virtual student please come by the school from 1-3.

We will have DHS spirit day on Thursday August 20 to celebrate our first home football game of the season! The theme is “Back to the Beach”! Please everyone have fun and dress in your beach attire. Please stay within the DHS dress code and wear those masks! No bathing suits or skimpy outfits. Also, wear your beach outfit to the football game. We will have a pep rally in the stands!

Your DHS Redstone Federal Credit Union branch is currently closed. We will make an announcement when we open the branch for the year. We are looking forward to seeing our members again soon!

ATTENTION ALL SENIORS – If you would like to announce these daily announcements, please sign up to be a DHS announcer in the front office by Tuesday, August 18th. You must be a senior and be on campus 3rd block each day. Remember, this Tuesday is the deadline so sign up today!

If any student (boy or girl) would like to join the DHS Football Team Film Crew and Training Staff please see Coach Smith for more information. We are looking for a few students to help film the football games as well as help Brad Cheatham, our sports trainer, take care of our athletes on the sidelines. These 2 spots will go fast so don't wait!!!!

If you took an art class last year and would like your artwork, please come by rooms F116 or F117 and collect your work by this Friday, August 21. Any work left at that point will be considered unwanted and will be relocated.
