Shout out to Coach Dye and Ms. Wise. We appreciate them taking on our blended students. They have been working hard to support us in communication with blended students. This week they have taken on STAR testing for blended students. Thank you, Dye and Wise, for your help.
Our very own Mrs. Burgreen received a shout out from central office for having phenomenal AP scores. Way to go
Shellie Burgreen - World History - 61.1% of her 18 students scored qualifying scores. This is 11 pts higher than AL and also is ahead of the Global average by a point.
Mock Virtual Days are going great! Thank you for your hard work and determination to make this a success. Many of you have mentioned to me the benefits of live-streaming. Please continue to do this. While I don't think it is necessary, or effective to do it every day, I do think our students will benefit from 2 or 3 days a week.
Nothing can beat your instruction, and I would put what you do in the classroom up against anyone in the district. While we have no control over who is traditional and blended, live streaming your instruction is the next best thing for our blended virtual students. I also hope by live-streaming and recording the lessons you will not have to spend so much time recording videos on your planning, after school, on weekends, etc.
