Shout out to the APs! I am blessed to work alongside two educators that are willing to work so hard for our students. They want the best for every student and that shines through in every of their interactions, tasks, and responsibilities. Thank you Mrs. Smith and Mrs. Shields!

In order to ensure students feel safe at all times and in all locations, consider how we can each contribute:
Hallways: Be present. Often, students will not engage in negative behavior if they see a teacher. However, if teachers are consistently present, students will anticipate your presence and will be less likely to engage in negative behavior.
Bathrooms: Consider intermittent restroom schedules. Perhaps you do not allow students to go to the restroom the first 15 minutes of class and the last 10 minutes of class. Or, your grade level or family group can plan a designated, staggered window of time when you will allow students to take restroom breaks. Whatever works for you!
Our school-wide discipline is off to a great start! Thank you for working together to fix those broken windows. Students are starting to understand that misbehaviors and civil unrest will not be the norm and will not be accepted. We truly have some great kids!
