One Week Summer Training Programme in Plant Systematics
May 31st to June 6th, 2019

Participants: 25, including, under graduate students, post graduate students and research scholars from University of Delhi participated in the programme.
The key topics: Describing a New Species, Key Preparation, Field Activities, Herbarium Techniques, Molecular Markers in Plant Systematics, Tree Construction using Mesquite, Molecular Systematics, Chemotaxonomy, DNA Barcoding, etc. Students thoroughly enjoyed, learned various aspects of plant taxonomy and also come to know about the scope and future in plant taxonomy.
Valedictory function on 06 June, 2019: Prof. Arun Kumar Pandey (Vice Chancellor, Mansarovar Global University, Bhopal, M.P.) was the chief guest on the occasion.
