Aspiration
Be a child aspiring to be a student.
Be an adult aspiring to be a teacher.
Be both learner and teacher within a community of practice.
Be friends, and allow friendships to develop through shared effort.

Setting
The school.
The classroom.
The playground.
The spaces between—where no one is assigned, but much is formed.

Characters
Teachers and students.
Students and teachers.
Each carrying both roles, at different moments.

Virtue
Practice sense-making.
Practice self-discipline.
Know yourself with others, not apart from them.

Warnings
Too much objectivity can reduce people to goals.
Too much subjectivity can dissolve goals into feelings.
Balance is not given; it is practiced.
Use intelligence with empathy.
Use empathy with intelligence.

Aim
Not perfection, but alignment.
Not control, but understanding.
Not performance, but becoming.

열망 (Aspiration)
학생이 되기를 열망하는 아이가 되어라.
교사가 되기를 열망하는 어른이 되어라.
실천 공동체 안에서 배우는 사람이자 가르치는 사람이 되어라.
친구가 되고, 함께하는 노력 속에서 우정이 자라나게 하라.

장소 (Setting)
학교.
교실.
운동장.
그리고 그 사이의 공간들—아무도 역할을 부여하지 않지만, 많은 것이 형성되는 곳.

등장인물 (Characters)
교사와 학생.
학생과 교사.
서로 다른 순간마다, 각자 두 역할을 함께 지닌 존재.

덕목 (Virtue)
의미를 만들어가는 연습을 하라.
자기 수양을 연습하라.
타인과 함께, 자신을 알라.

경고 (Warnings)
지나친 객관성은 사람을 목표로만 축소시킨다.
지나친 주관성은 목표를 감정 속에 흩어지게 한다.
균형은 주어지는 것이 아니라, 연습되는 것이다.
지능을 공감과 함께 사용하라.
공감을 지능과 함께 사용하라.

지향점 (Aim)
완벽이 아니라, 정렬.
통제가 아니라, 이해.
성과가 아니라, 되어감.
