The University of Wisconsin Center for Placement Testing recently announced that Placement Testing will only be offered online this Spring. We will be sure to provide more information regarding Placement Tests as it becomes available.

A few things to keep in mind:
Registration for the online tests for Summer and Fall students is targeted to begin on March 15.
Students will not need a UW-issued email address to register; however, they will need their UW campus credentials. To inquire about campus credentials, students may contact their UW campus.
Multifactor authentication will not be required

2017 Regional Placement Testing
Regional Placement Testing for students entering the UW System campuses fall semester will begin on February 1. With internet access, students will be able to register online at http://www.testing.wisc.edu. by clicking on the Regional Placement Testing Program. At this site, students can view and select a site, and print confirmation information.
Regional Placement Testing Information
- Students can resister for one foreign language test (French, German or Spanish) during Regional Placement Testing.
- Students can change their test dates and/or sites at the registration Web site - popular sites often fill before published deadlines.
- Placement test scores are sent to the campuses and will be used during summer or fall orientation.
- All placement test scores are sent to the testing office at each UW System campus.
- Students requesting accommodations should not register online. They should follow the instructions provided by the campus they will be attending.
- Battery-powered calculators may be used but graphing calculators are not permitted.
- Students are not required to submit a fee for placement testing - campuses will provide information regarding any fee assessed.
