Grade point average, which includes all courses except Band, Chorus, and Drivers Ed. are included in grade point computation. Phy. Ed. is computed as .5 class. GPA is calculated each semester. The cumulative semester GPA is used to determine class rank. The semester GPA and class rank are recorded on the student's transcript.
The grade in each course is assigned the following value:
A+=4.00 A=4.00 A-=3.67
B+=3.33 B=3.00 B-=2.67
C+=2.33 C=2.00 C-=1.67
D+=1.33 D=1.00 D-=.67
F=0.00
Add the assigned values for each course grade and divide by the number of courses.
Example:
B 1x3.00=3.00
B- 1x2.67=2.67
C 1x2.00=2.00
A 1x4.00=4.00
C+ 1x2.33=2.33
B+ 1x3.33=3.33
Phy. Ed. A .5x4.00=2.00
