October is National Anti-Bullying Month

Help put a STOP to it!

When adults respond quickly and consistently to bullying behavior they send the message that it is not acceptable. Research shows this can stop bullying behavior over time.

Parents, school staff, and other adults in the community can help kids prevent bullying by talking about it, building a safe school environment, and creating a community-wide bullying prevention strategy.

If you have not filled out a gold Records Release form, please stop in and pick one up. ALSO - let me know when you have applied to a school, so I can send a transcript.

SCHOLARSHIPS - Local scholarships will be posted and available mid-January. We are waiting to hear back from some sponsors - But this should not stop you from preparing. Create a list of activities & accomplishments. And work on a personal statement.

* REMINDER - If you need a letter of recommendation, give your writer plenty of advance notice. DO NOT ask them 1 or 2 days before the due date.

FAFSA

Get your FAFSAs in as soon as possible. We have extra packets from the meeting. They are very informational. Stop in and pick one up.
