Welcome to BTEC Health and social care

The course develops knowledge and understanding in a range of Health and Social Care topics. Students will learn about effective communication, common health disorders and the effective treatments and patient pathways for these disorders. Students will also investigate how children learn, including reviewing the work of educational theorists. Students also investigate practitioner roles, mental health disorders and examine food requirements of individuals and generate exercise plans for clients.
