Jenny Wolff
Medical Director
Jenny is a Registered Nurse specializing in pediatric primary care, with a deep passion for animal rescue and fostering. Since 2020, she has been an advocate for senior medical and hospice dogs, having adopted Ruby, a 2019 major medical case, from DPA. Jenny is particularly drawn to helping cocker spaniels in need and will never turn down the opportunity to rescue one from the shelter.
In addition to her nursing career, Jenny enjoys spending her free time making art and renovating her home. She resides in Dallas with her dog Charlie.

Carole Gowan
Medical Records Coordinator & Container Manager
Carole is a high school teacher who teaches Floral Design and Veterinary Science. Outside the classroom, she fosters dogs and cats, with a special focus on medical cases that need extra care. She has a particular soft spot for blind kittens and anything with a missing leg. She has been volunteering with Dallas Pets Alive since 2023 and values the strong sense of community she’s found within the organization.
Candace Anderson
Prevention Coordinator
Candace works in project management at a small non-profit called the Alliance for Contraception in Cats and Dogs, and has been volunteering remotely on the Prevention Team at DPA since 2023. Candace has an affinity for cats and also volunteers at a local cat rescue in Connecticut where she performs TNR and onboards new fosters.
