STANDARD 4 – FUNDING
FUNDING SHOULD BE PROVIDED TO MEET THE PROGRAM GOALS AND PERFORMANCE OBJECTIVES.
4.1 FUNDING
Adequate funding should be allocated and used for the operation of the program. The funding should be allocated by the institutional administration in conjunction with the program faculty with input from the advisory committee. Funding reports should be made available to program staff.

As described in Standard 2, Section C, District 303 goes through a yearly budgetary process where instructional programs are analyzed and feedback provided by the Principal and Assistant Principal for Instructional Programs to ensure that teachers have the needed instructional resources that aligns to the learning standards that they need as well as additional resources. These may include, but are not limited to tools, equipment, service publications, etc. Administration collaborates with the Auto instructor and the Associate Director of Curriculum 9-12, to ensure that the Autos Program has the necessary text(s), instructional materials, and tools/equipment to support students' learning in the different autos levels offered at St. Charles East High School. The Auto Tech budget is created by building administrators comparing the prior year's budget to spending over the same time period as well as in collaboration with the CTE Department Chair. The Auto Tech teachers are responsible for spending within the limits of this budget.

The technology classroom supply budget is divided among three areas- Auto, Woods, and Engineering. For the 2024-2025 school year, the Auto budget has $7,000 allotted to it. If a need is identified above and beyond this budgeted amount there is flexibility in the budget to re-allocate funds from another area to support the identified need(s) for the auto program.
