SUPPORT MATERIAL, CONSISTENT WITH BOTH PROGRAM GOALS AND PERFORMANCE OBJECTIVES, SHOULD BE AVAILABLE TO STAFF AND STUDENTS.
3.1 SERVICE INFORMATION
Service information with current manufacturer’s service procedures and specification data for vehicles manufactured within the last ten (10) years should be available. This information should be accessible to students in the lab/shop area.

3.2 MULTIMEDIA
Appropriate up-to-date multimedia materials and technology should be readily available and utilized in the training process.

Both schools utilize wide and varied instructional materials including, but not limited to: textbooks (both in print and online), AllData Online-Library Version, videos, guest speakers, field trips (I.E. Auto Show), hands-on learning tools (mainly the physical vehicles and parts used in the lab to demonstrate and provide hands-on learning for students)
B. Describe the availability of multimedia equipment and materials for instructional purposes.
The classroom is equipped with a Screen Beam projector and white board to display various types of media. All projection is controlled through the teacher's laptop. Students are equipped with individual Chromebooks, but cannot directly access the projector.
Students have access to the text book online and a variety of hands-on-learning tools including All Data online.
3.3 STUDENT RESOURCES
Pertinent instructional texts, resources, and e-learning materials should be available for each student to satisfy the objectives of the mode of instruction used. Basic and specialty learning resources should have copyright dates that are not over six (6) years old.

B. Describe the availability of general and technical automotive magazines, newspapers, and websites for student and instructor use in terms of being current.
Automotive Magazines We have a magazine rack in the classroom and shop. The one in the classroom has many updated quality automotive publications. Students are encouraged to go through these if they have finished an assignment or assessments. Periodically they will be assigned to complete an article review. They will turn that in and sometimes I will have the students give a summary to the class about the article if time permits.
