We all know that what teachers do (and do not do) in the classroom can make all of the difference in the world for a student. In D79, we are committed to building the capacity of every teacher so that they are using he most effective classroom practices possible.

While effective teaching practices are spelled out throughout the sections on Reading, Writing, and Discussion, below are more key questions to consider related to teacher instructional practice. These questions have been informed by the Supportive Environment Framework and the CRSE framework.
