A class collaboration inspired by artist Clark Stoeckly

Artist Clark Stoeckly spoke to 7th grade students about his work as an artist and activist. Back during the 2008 election Clark appropriated Robert Indiana’s Love sculpture, rotating the letters and rearranging them to say Vote. Stoeckly revived this project in 2020 to inspire voters in the current election to vote. Seventh graders were asked to appropriate Clark’s Love to Vote, to create their own message to voters in the 2020 election.
