The Ridgeline High School Band is excited to host a youth percussion camp on July 11th - 13th for incoming 7th and 8th grade middle school band students.
The camp will include specialized training in the areas of drumline, mallet percussion, and concert percussion and is a great way to increase your skills and supplement your music education. The camp will be taught by the Ridgeline High School Percussion Staff and members of the Percussion Leadership Team.
You'll learn what it's like to be a percussionist in a high school program as well as get to ask questions and hang out with other percussionists from all around Spokane. Come learn to take your drumming skills to the next level!
Camp is for all incoming and 7th - 8th grade CVSD students and has a total cost of $50.00. We will use school equipment and work with RHS coaching staff and student leaders to help students explore various percussion opportunities including mallets, concert band percussion, and even drumline. It's going to be an exciting enviornment for everyone!

All Ridgeline Regiment members are also eligible for a PE Waiver, this turns your required graduation credit for PE in to an elective requirement.
The Ridgeline Regiment represents all of the amazing members of the RHS Marching Band; from brass, colorguard, percussion, and woodwinds. Everyone in the band is part of the Regiment. It is our largest extra curricular activity on campus. The marching band program features dramatic, theatrical-like programs. First class designers give every year's group a unique program.
Ridgeline Regiment begins with registration in the spring for all 8th - 11th graders. Percussion and Colorguard members do need to complete a placement audition, this is a non-cut audition that helps us assign roles and to plan on skill development for individuals through the summer camp.
All members of the Regiment MUST attend the August Marching Band Camp held at Ridgeline High School. The camp includes long days, broken in to several skill development and program specific training blocks; including, professionally led sectionals, learning fundamentals of movement and dance, music fundamentals, "show music," and lots of team building.
One of the best reasons to be part of the Regiment is that you belong to something BIG before school even starts. There is already a family to go to school with. And when you have that on the first day, your school year is going to go great for you! Get involved and join the Ridgeline Regiment.
