What You Need To Know About Competitions

Dress In Layers

The mornings are cold, afternoons get warm, and evenings get cold. It also gets cold on the bus rides. The students dress get dressed in their uniforms in the parking lot next to the buses.  To ensure privacy the students should wear on the bus what they are going to wear underneath their uniforms and then add layers for comfort and warmth.  The students should also bring an extra pair of black socks. 

Students need to wear their show shirt and leggings, or athletic shorts or joggers underneath their uniform along with all black socks. No denim or cargo pants or shorts. No black socks with a print on them.

The students will take off their uniform between prelims and finals to sit in the stand as spectators. They will need to wear school appropriate attire while in the stands. No sports bras only. 

Students should bring a backpack for water bottles, Gatorade, extra socks, hoodies, sunscreen, cash, band aides, Tylenol, ect. 

Food Is Provided by the Boosters

The boosters will hand out a breakfast bag to each student. Lunch and dinner will be served by the boosters. The student will need to bring their own snacks, extra water, and cash for the concession stands.

Port a potties are available by the buses. But students should try to use the concession stand bathrooms when available.

Medical

The band does have medical bags for basic types of emergencies. There will be a nurse and Dr.  (band parents) who will be traveling with the buses on every trip. However, kids should bring their own Band-Aids and Tylenol. 

Concessions

The concession do provide show wear at every single event. The show wear is available at a kiosk that is first come first serve and they only have so much available. They do accept cash and credit card. It is the same company at every show.

Patches and pins for backpacks and letterman's jackets are also available. 

Food concessions is cash only.
