Programs

The Central Valley High School Marching Band and Color Guard have a legacy of excellence. We hold ourselves to a high level of standards in everything we do. We are a team. We are open to any and everyone regardless of skill level.  

"Concert Band" refers to the in-school classes that you can take for a Fine Arts credit. we have 2 Concert Bands, Symphonic Band which anyone can get into, and Wind Ensemble that you have to audition to get into. It also can refer to Jazz Band which is a 0-Hour (before 1st Period) class that you can do.

"Percussion" is in fact a very general term at CV. We have 3 different Percussion ensembles at CV. Marching Band Drumline and Pit, Concert Band Percussion, and Parade Percussion.

Color Guard is truly an amazing type of expressive art form. Central Valley has 3 different Color Guard Programs, similar to Percussion. Fall Marching Band Guard, Frost Guard, and Parade Color Guard.
