Prepare all of #33, the first three lines of #41, and the last three lines of #41. You can choose any tempo, but we are looking for a goal of 70 bpm. Symphonic Band members will upload these as two separate recordings on their Google Classroom assignment.

Prepare the tune to reflect your best sound and your most expressive qualities as a musician. There are no tempo requirements, and you are welcome to enhance your performance through as much or as little embellishment as you want. It can be played strictly, it can be played in a jazz style - with improvised riffs. Just make sure it still sounds like "Somewhere Over the Rainbow." This will be the third file Symphonic Band members must upload for their final, as assigned via Google Classroom. Do not forget to click SUBMIT!
For students who are continuing with band in their 2022 - 2023 schedule, we will use your final as chair placement in the coming school year. If your schedule needs to change to accommodate your placement, we will handle that for you in the summer and you should see your new schedule reflect that when you come back to school.
