Amalia Peña is a junior Art & Design major and Psychology minor. She has always loved the visual arts, particularly painting, and has had a couple of her works published in Vermillion. This piece is a master copy of Giovanni Battista Salvi da Sassoferrato's The Virgin in Prayer, and was created with acrylic paint on unstretched canvas.
