Ricardo Ramos

Ricardo Ramos is a junior double major in politics and sociology, with minors in writing and philosophy. He is humbled and honored to be a co-editor-in-chief of this incredible magazine. He has been utterly changed by writing and hopes to publish and create writing and art that changes others! 

Ann Pierson

 Co-Editor-in-Chief

Ann is a junior English and Theology major with a minor in Writing from Waukee, IA. She is thrilled to be part of the Vermilion team for a second semester and cannot wait to see the creative work from those in CUA's community! In her free time, Ann likes reading, doing puzzles, baking, hanging out with friends and family, and planning her next Target run.

Nicholas Chang

Hi! My name is Nicholas Chang, I'm a senior from South Riding, Virginia, and I'm majoring in business administration with a specialization in sales. I am also a member of the football and track team here at CUA. In my free time I love hanging out with friends and listening to music. I am excited to be a part of the Vermillion team this year and hope to make a positive impact for the magazine. After college, I plan to move to Atlanta, Georgia and pursue a career in sales. 

Kyrien Keeton

Social Media Manager

Hi! My name is Kyrien Keeton, and I am a freshman honors student pursuing a major in English as well as minors in Marketing, Media & Communications, and Writing at The Catholic University of America. As an avid writer and reader, my goal is to one day work in the book industry and have a mediocre but overpriced apartment in NYC. My hobbies include: collecting stickers, eating Subway sandwiches, reading science fiction/fantasy, and (of course) writing. 

Anna Marcum

Anna Marcum is an aspiring novelist and a student of Catholic University in Washington DC. She loves creative writing and has written many essays and short stories, as well as published a few, and in addition, she has mentored aspiring teen writers. She is currently in the Catholic University Honors Program and is majoring in Classics, studying ancient Greek and Latin literature. Outside of school she mainly enjoys drawing and she has a small fossil collection.

Kelly Mosier

Web Writing Editor

Kelly Mosier is a sophomore Theology major with a minor in writing. This is her first year on the Vermilion team, and she is eager to help authors publish their work! She is also an assistant web editor on the Inventio Student Editorial Board. In her spare time, Kelly loves to play the flute. She is a member of the wind ensemble and a co-captain of the Pep Band.

Brigid Murray

My name is Brigid Murray, and I am a Senior Marketing and Sales Major. I am from Kensington, Maryland and enjoy cooking, working out, watching sports, and spending time with family and friends. I am excited to contribute to Vermilion this year and learn from those around me!

Olivia Sobkowicz

My name is Olivia Sobkowicz, and I am a freshman English major from Baltimore, MD. I am a part of the cross-country and track team at CUA. I love to read and write novels, flash fiction, poetry, short stories, and articles for the university newspaper. I am very excited to be working on Vermillion for the second semester!

Carol Vivar-Lopez

Carol is a senior English major with minors in philosophy and politics pre-law. She is also the president of CUA’s English Society and enjoys discussions on literature. Apart from her love for literature, she also enjoys; arts and crafts, going on long walks with her dog, harness training her cat and dove (yes a dove), and hanging out with her friends. Carol has enjoyed reviewing and editing for Vermillion and cannot wait to see everyone’s work showcased this year!
