Emily Thomas is a junior Theology and Religious Studies student from Baltimore, Maryland. She is also minoring in Philosophy and Psychology. Emily is currently involved with CUA’s wind ensemble and campus ministry and she works at the Basilica of the National Shrine of the Immaculate Conception.
In the sea of slow-moving sapless structures
filled with tired travelers
a fulgent flash of color emerges.
