Marian Gallagher studies architecture and studio art at Catholic University, class of 2022.

This piece is close to her heart because it is a painting of a photograph she took on the mountain when she learned how to ski. It is also one of her first pieces that she created using oil paint and the first piece that she felt was truly successful in that medium. Painting this introduced her to a love of oil painting that she is excited to continue exploring in the future.
