+ INSTALL SCREENCAST O MAGIC

1.  Go to https://screencast-o-matic.com/home

2.  Click Sign Up to create  account to upload and store your presentation once it is created. Select SIGN IN WITH GOOGLE and use your CSW Google Account.

3.  Click Download Install and then run the executable file located in your download folder.

+ RECORD SOME CONTENT

When you are ready to start recording your slides, use the following steps as guidance

1. open your Slides or any application / program you want to record 

2. Open the Screencast-O-Matic screen recorder and click Start Recorder 

3. Adjust the area to record (dragging the dotted lines) 

4. In the Record box, check your audio and recording devices.  Click Both to capture slides and Webcam. Click Computer Audio to record using computer microphone. Or, plug in a headset with a microphone for better quality sound.

NOTE: If you are recording short, less than 5 minute content videos for the class, just record your screen. That way, students will be able to see and maximize the content you are presenting.


+ PUBLISH YOUR SCREENCAST

When you are satisfied with your recording

1. Click DONE

2.  From the What's Next? option, select SAVE/UPLOAD.

3.  From the options, you can SAVE AS VIDEO FILE. This will allow you to upload the screencast to a MYCSW Topic Page so students in China can easily view the content. You can also publish to Youtube.

4.  Name your file and save to a folder you can easily locate the video again.

5.  Upload the Video file using an EMBED in a MYCSW Topic Page.
