Applied research methodology skills to evaluate the effectiveness of crime control policy.
Dr. Fujita's research interests include spatial and temporal analysis of street crimes (e.g., homicides, robberies, burglaries, and auto theft), including hotspot analysis, point pattern analysis, spatial regression, as well as repeat and near-repeat analysis, crime prevention through environmental design, and situational crime prevention. He seeks how he can effectively visualize data and/or research findings.
