All Co-Teaching Candidates Log Their Hours in MySLP and Send Them to their Co-Teacher for Approval Weekly
I am a Co-Teaching Teacher Candidate. What can count toward my co-teaching hours?
CSUMB Co-Teaching Teacher Candidates may count:
time spent co-teaching (virtual or in-person)
engaging in professional development (virtual or in-person)
co-planning (virtual or in person), attending school-related meetings (e.g., back to school night, open house, PTA meetings, parent-teacher conferences, SST meetings, IEP meetings, etc. (virtual or in person)
time spent grading, evaluating, and/or providing feedback on student work
time spent reflecting and debriefing with your assigned Clinical Coach (instructor for ED 601, ED 603, ED 624, ED 625, SPED 567A/B, or SPED 577A/B).
If I substitute teach, does this count toward my 600 hours?
No, not at this time.
