The Citizen Scientist Project and the CSUB Teacher Education Department hosted a virtual keynote address by distinguished teacher education scholar, Dr. Gloria Ladson-Billings, on October 24 from 10am-11am.
Her keynote address, "Educating Past Pandemics," explored the pandemics of COVID-19, anti-Black racism, climate change, and economic crises through the lens of a Native American concept, which views pandemics as portals that separate old worlds from new.
